Our History

Founded on the Vision of Unity and Knowledge

Ihya Academy was established with a clear purpose: to nurture a community rooted in knowledge, spirituality, and unity. From its earliest days, the Academy has focused on providing comprehensive Islamic education that caters to children, youth, and adults. With an ethos grounded in inclusivity, respect, and intellectual curiosity, Ihya Academy set out to create a safe and welcoming space for learners from all walks of life.

Growing Through Programmes that Serve All Ages

Over time, Ihya Academy expanded its offerings to meet the needs of the wider community:

Children’s Madrassa

Children’s Madrassa was developed to provide young learners with a strong foundation in Qur’an recitation, Tajweed, Salah, Duas, and Islamic studies.

Saturday Kids Club (SKC)

The Saturday Kids Club (SKC) emerged as a space for creativity and cultural learning through Nasheed singing, Duff lessons, Arabic classes, and weekly gatherings.

Youth Scholarship Programme

The Youth Scholarship Programme was launched to offer teenagers an in-depth study of Seerah, Aqeedah, Fiqh, and Tajweed, paired with spiritual retreats for character and leadership development.

AIS Adult Programme

The AIS Adult Programme was introduced as a rigorous three-year course, connecting traditional Islamic sciences with modern-day relevance and offering ijazat in classical texts.

Strengthening Community Through Gatherings and Events

As Ihya Academy grew, it extended its role beyond the classroom by offering:

Weekly Gatherings

Weekly Gatherings, such as Qur’an Café and Salawat Sessions, which allow participants to reflect, connect, and learn together.

Special Community Events

Special Community Events, including guest lectures, cultural celebrations, youth retreats, and interfaith dialogues, which serve to unite and uplift the wider community.
