Story So Far

How Ihya Academy has grown into a hub for Islamic learning and community connection.

From Foundations to Flourishing Programmes

Starting with a focused aim to nurture young learners, Ihya Academy launched the Children’s Madrassa, where students began their journey with Qur’an recitation, Tajweed, Islamic Studies, Salah, and Duas. It quickly became the heart of our work—laying down strong spiritual and intellectual roots in children’s lives.

As the academy grew, we responded to the needs of families by expanding our curriculum and offering tailored programmes across age groups.

Expanding to Serve Youth and Families

To provide more creative, hands-on learning, we introduced the Saturday Kids Club (SKC)—a space for cultural expression through Nasheed singing, Duff lessons, Arabic conversation, trips, and weekly gatherings. It gave children a joyful outlet to connect with their faith in new ways.

We then launched the Youth Scholarship Programme, a structured, advanced study track including Seerah, Aqeedah, Fiqh, Ethics, and Tajweed. Residential trips and group activities helped teens develop confidence, identity, and spiritual discipline.

A Learning Hub for All Ages

With the establishment of the AIS (Advanced Islamic Studies) programme, Ihya Academy created a path for adult learners to study Arabic, Hadith, Fiqh, and classical texts. Many students now pursue ijazat and continue learning with depth and purpose.

Alongside our core education, we’ve grown into a community centre—hosting lectures, workshops, interfaith dialogues, and weekly gatherings like Qur’an Café and Salawat Sessions. These moments reflect the broader vision of Ihya Academy: to revive hearts and uplift lives through shared learning and connection.
